How to determine Digipas™ Digital Level requires user self calibration?

Place Digipas™ on a flat surface and check against vials (Bubble). Move the Digipas until the display indicates 0.0˚ while the vial's bubble is in the middle of the two marking lines. Calibration is not required.
   
How to self calibrate the Digipas DWL 100 (Clip-on model)?
User Instructions
On/Off : Turn on/off
Hold : Freeze display value and store the value in the memory
Mode : Change resolution 0.1° or 0.5° and 1°
Cal : Change Calibration value (Please read the instruction below)
Caution
The Digital Level has been calibrated in the factory for maximum accuracy. User only re-calibrate unless absolutely necessary.
 
Calibration Instructions
1.   Clip the DigiPas on a normal Water Level as shown in drawing. Ensure the clip is fully secured and flat.
2.   Use a blunt needle insert into the "Cal" hole and push ONCE then release. Buzzer starts to beep.
3a.   Ensure the DigiPas is placed in flat surface (e.g. Floor) and use a finger to Press Mode Button ONCE while wait a few seconds until buzzer beeps.
b.   Place the DigiPas reverse horizontal (180°) on the same place and Press Mode Button ONCE and wait a few seconds until buzzer beeps.
c.   Place the DigiPas vertical (-90°) and Press Mode Button ONCE and wait a few seconds until buzzer beeps.
d.   Place the DigiPas reverse vertical (+90°) and Press Mode Button ONCE and wait a few seconds until buzzer beeps.
4.   Calibration complete when buzzer beep sound stops.
